URSULA STOCKDER

Mexican painter, her formation includes studies in thanatology, aromatherapy, astrology and tarot; training in acupressure massage, polarity and energy movement, as well as several studies in relationship therapy and dream analysis
In 1992 she starts to study painting in Ursula García Ascot’s
atelier. She continues with Bettina Garro, Pedro Rivera, Patricia Cajiga, Felipe Cortés and Arturo Zapata.
She has been part of more than 30 collective exhibitions in places like Museo del Palacio de Bellas Artes, Cámara de Senadores, Cámara de Diputados del H. Congreso de la Unión, Sala Nezahualcóyotl, the German Embassy and the Museum de la Ciudad de México among others.
She participated in a mural project coordinated by the Tecnológico de Monterrey, Instituto Mexiquense de Cultura, Organización de las Naciones Unidas, UNICEF and the Directory of Plastic Arts.
“Echos of life” is her more recent individual exhibition presented in the Museum Ex Monastery del Carmen in Desierto de los Leones during the month of June 2003.
